The age of Metaxa is read by asterisks, the exception being only the most respectable luxury products, for which a verbal description is used. Metaxa 7* has matured for 7 years. The aroma has notes of orange marmalade, nutmeg, dried apricots, and vanilla. The taste is very mild and well-balanced, you can feel the plums and mild spiciness.
