With a fine dense bubble jet, intense in color, bright yellow Elegantly fruity and citrusy in the aroma. You can smell apple blossoms, citrus fruits, apples, yellow stone fruits and toasted forge with almonds. The palate is dry, medium-bodied and fruity complex with fresh yellow apples, chalky citrus and ripe light stone fruit with creamy avocado and toasted almonds. The grapes come from the Montagne de Reims, Cótes de Blancs and Vallée de la Marné growing areas, 40% of the grapes come from Champagne Deutz's personal vineyards in Ay. The base wine made only from the first press ferments in stainless steel barrels, is malolactically fermented, and 57% reserve wines are added to the base wine. The second fermentation with autolysis in a bottle of yeast lasts for 3 years. Champagne Deutz&Geldermann was founded in Aÿ, the oldest Grand Cru village of the Champagne region, in 1838 by two wine merchants of German origin: William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. The company was named Champagne Deutz in 1873, when Réne Deutz's sister Marié married Albert Geldermann and the champagne house became a family business thanks to the marriage. In 1993, the Rouzaud family, which also owns Champagne Louis Roederer, acquired the champagne house. Champagne Deutz owns 45ha of 1er Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the village of Aÿ.
