One of the oldest wine houses in the Champagne region was founded in 1760 by Reims judge François Delamotte. His son, Nicholas-Louis, who was also a Knight of the Order of Malta, took Jean-Baptiste Lanson as a partner and started in 1798. to use the Maltese cross as the Champagne Lanson logo. 1837 the name was changed to "Lanson et Cie". Champagne Lanson has been the official champagne supplier of the British royal family (The Royal Warrant) for more than 120 years and the main partner of the Wimbledon tennis tournament for more than 45 years. There are 57ha of private vineyards around the city of Reims, and the separate 16ha Domaine de la Malmaison vineyard is certified by Demeter, which cultivates biodynamic agriculture. Yellow with a fine dense bubble stream, medium intensity in color with a golden sheen. The aroma is more intense than average, fruity complex and needs time to open. Feel dried fruits, baked apple, baker's spices with roasted almonds, roasted hazelnuts and seed bread are added to the end of the aroma. The taste is dry, medium bodied and fruity mineral. As the taste opens, you can feel overripe fruits, dried yellow apples, light raisins with roasted nuts. The aftertaste is long and multi-layered, combining dried fruits with a slightly spicy minerality. The grapes come from selected Grand Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs growing areas - Verzenay, Bouzy, Avize, Cramant, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Chouilly. The base wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels without malolactic fermentation. The second fermentation with autolysis in the bottle on lees lasts for 16 years. Made only in the best years, produced in a limited quantity of 21,874pdl.

Grande Reserve cuvée is Gosset's signature champagne and the perfect expression of the winery's distinctive style, featuring all 3 champagne grape varieties: 45% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. Only the best Crus are used to create the cuvée. Chardonnay provides elegance and minerality, and Pinot Noir adds subtle character and medium flavor. Pinot Meunier provides fruitiness and roundness to balance the freshness. To avoid early oxidation and malolactic fermentation, champagne is aged on the lees for min. 4 years, which is longer than the statutory 15 months. With a bright, ripe golden hue in appearance, in the aroma we feel freshness and yellow fruits (Mirabelle plum, apricot) as well as slightly honeyed and roasted notes. The elegant and powerful taste palette is round, ripe, with a velvety structure and a delicate nuance of fresh citrus. Contains sulfites.
