Fresh Madagascan vanilla is also used to make the liqueur, no additives or neutral alcohol have been used. 18 pears are needed to make one 70 cl bottle of Belle de Brillet liqueur! Pear and cognac - the perfect duo! In order to express the perfect harmony of flavors of the enticingly elegant liqueur, the strength of the drink is 30% vol, and the sugar content is only 20 g/100 ml. Belle de Brilllet liqueur is suitable for enjoying as an aperitif, also with ice or in cocktails. Maison Brillet is located in Graves-Saint-Amant, on the banks of the Charente River. The winery dates back to 1656, when Guy Brillet founded a vineyard in the heart of the Cognac region. In the 1850s, under the leadership of the 7th generation representative of the family, Vivien Brillet, the wine estate's distillation equipment was acquired and large cellars were built. The business began to develop rapidly. In the 1920s, Jean and Raymond Brillet developed their Petite and Grande Champagne range of cognacs and Pineau des Charentes liqueur. Today, 10 generations have kept the family vineyard alive with dedication and passion. In 1985, Jean-Louis Brillet created the liqueur Belle de Brillet as a tribute to his wife, Isabelle. Introducing a unique liqueur in a pear-shaped bottle to the world was the husband and wife's shared passion, and since then BELLE de BRILLET has been the flagship of the Maison Brillet winery.
