Cenote is an ultra-premium 100% blue agave tequila inspired by the Yucatan Peninsula and its unique underground waters. Cenote tequila is a modern tribute to the ancient Mayans and their beliefs - Cenote means sacred spring in the Mayan language and they believed that the springs were windows to the underworld where gods and goddesses lived, including the rain god Chaac. This was especially important to them, as Cenotes, or karst caves, were the only sources of drinking water during periods of drought. Cenote tequila has a complex flavor profile that balances roasted agave flavors with subtle woody tones.
