Etsu Double Yuzu Gin has a transparent and clear appearance with fresh citrus aromas such as lemon and yuzu. In the taste, yuzu and citrus are in the foreground, giving the drink a pleasant freshness. The finish is round, soft and silky. This gin is distilled at the Akita Distillery on Japan's Honshu Island, Akita Prefecture, which stretches from the coast of the Sea of Japan to the Ōu Mountains, the mountain range from which Etsu Double Orange and Etsu Double Yuzu draw their fresh, light aromas. Etsu Double Yuzu is soaked in traditional herbs for seven days. After steeping, only the gin is distilled, without the botanicals, allowing the oils to infuse. Only after the distillation process is fresh mountain spring water added, which gives the drink its fresh taste.
