Diplomático Seleccion de Familia is a multifaceted rum for pure enjoyment, matured in an oak barrel for up to 12 years - it embodies passion, dedication, the unique art of rum making and traditions. Masters have selected the best rum casks and created a special and wonderful blend from them. A special and elegant rum, a blend of carefully selected vintages, made by the best masters for the most demanding customers. Color: dark amber Aroma: sugar cane, honey and red fruits followed by vanilla and oak Taste: oak and plum combined with cream iris, round and long aftertaste

Aged for five years in a bourbon cask in Barbados, then a year in a cognac cask in Cognac, France, and an additional year in a used Malbec grape wine cask. The aroma is elegant and jammy, with hints of plum, coconut, vanilla, tobacco and refreshing mint. The taste has a more fruity character, you can feel coconut milk, chocolate, raspberry and banana. A very limited release, available only this year. There isn't and won't be another rum like it. Suitable for a collector.
