Nestled in the heart of Sugarlandia, Don Papa Baroko is a testament to its homeland; a bold and exotic creation inspired by the lush tropical landscape where myth and nature converge. Crafted from 'Black Gold' molasses and aged in American Oak casks amidst the foothills of Mount Kanlaon, Don Papa Baroko is bursting with citrus and vanilla aromas. Its full-bodied character unfolds with candied tropical fruit and honey notes, culminating in a bold finish with a hint of toasted oak.

Aged for five years in a bourbon cask in Barbados, then a year in a cognac cask in Cognac, France, and an additional year in a used Malbec grape wine cask. The aroma is elegant and jammy, with hints of plum, coconut, vanilla, tobacco and refreshing mint. The taste has a more fruity character, you can feel coconut milk, chocolate, raspberry and banana. A very limited release, available only this year. There isn't and won't be another rum like it. Suitable for a collector.
