Planteray Single Cask Panama 2019 Rum is a limited single cask bottling, distilled in Panama in 2019. The rum is matured in several stages and finished in White Port (white port wine) casks, which adds berry fruitiness and depth to the fine wine. The aroma has tropical fruits, citrus and vanilla. The taste is silky: pineapple, mango and honey, soft oak in the background, light nuttiness and an elegant port wine nuance.

Aged for five years in a bourbon cask in Barbados, then a year in a cognac cask in Cognac, France, and an additional year in a used Malbec grape wine cask. The aroma is elegant and jammy, with hints of plum, coconut, vanilla, tobacco and refreshing mint. The taste has a more fruity character, you can feel coconut milk, chocolate, raspberry and banana. A very limited release, available only this year. There isn't and won't be another rum like it. Suitable for a collector.
