The Ardévol family has been growing grapes and nuts in Priorato since the 13th century. In 1995, it was decided to establish a personal winery in the small town of Porrera. Owns 10 ha of vineyards on rocky south-facing slopes with "Licorella" soil, 400-500m above sea level. Blackish red in color. The aroma is dried berry-herbal and structurally dense. You can feel liquorice spiciness, black prunes, dark bitter chocolate, dried rosemary, thyme, roasted coffee beans and tobacco. The taste is powerfully berry and dense. Feel overripe chokeberries, black cherries, smoked plum, ground black pepper, sweet spices, robust berry tannins and wild berry jam. The aftertaste is evenly long and dense with spicy tannins. The wine matures for 16 months in new French "Allier" oak barrels, only 20,000 bottles of the wine have been produced.
