One of the largest and best-known wine producers in Moldova, owning 600ha of vineyards in the regions of Codru, Stefan Voda and Valul Lui Traiani. The producer also owns the most famous and oldest winery in Moldova, Château Purcari, founded in 1827. Pale yellow in color with a slight greenish undertone. The aroma is fruity and lush, you can feel overripe yellow apples, apricots, quinces and lightly roasted almonds. A little pomelo and grapefruit are added to the end of the aroma. The taste is semi-sweet, medium-bodied and with the character of overripe yellow fruits. Smell ripe citrus fruits, melons and sweet yellow plums. The aftertaste is of medium length, adding bitter herbs, citrus peel and bitter almonds The wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels, malolactically fermented, and no oak barrel aging was used in the winemaking process.
