The small winery owned by the Cruchon family was founded in 1987. The color is deep garnet red with violet undertones. The aroma is elegant and berry-complex. Feel overripe red berries, cherries, overripe blueberries, sweet oak spices and roasted smoky animality. The end of the aroma is silky berry-smoky. The taste is elegant, medium-bodied, with a structured berry character. Feel ripe field berries, ripe stone fruit with sweet woody-spicy tannins. The aftertaste is harmoniously berry-spicy. The wine is fermented in large oak barrels and matures for 8-12 months in small French oak barrels.
