A young winery founded in 1984. Owns 3700 ha of vineyards in Aragon, D.O Campo de Borja area, some of the vineyards are over 100 years old. Medium intensity ruby red in colour. The aroma is structurally berry and dense, you can feel overripe field berries, blackcurrant jam and dried figs, which is invigorated by lively peppery tannins. The end of the aroma is complemented by sweet spices, vanilla and cinnamon with bitter chocolate and roasted coffee beans. The taste is structurally berry and full, with well-balanced tannic acid. Dark overripe wild berries, plums, black currants and wild berries dominate, bitter chocolate, sweet spices, cloves and crushed black pepper are added to the aftertaste. The grapes are picked from vines that are about 40-50 years old, with a yield of less than 1 kg per vine. The wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels, mixed with approx. 90% of the vintage indicated on the label and 5-7% of the previous and 5-7% of the subsequent vintage - "Selección Especial".
