The winery, still owned by the family, was founded in 1762 in the village of Saint-Hippolyte. 20 ha of private vineyards. The largest organic wine producer in Alsace. Low intensity garnet red in colour Aromas of ripe raspberries-strawberries, ripe red currants and cherries, rowan and fresh berry acidity with a light vanilla note. The taste is dry and light, with the character of fresh red berries. Feel pohli, cranberries, fresh raspberries and ripe rowanberries. The aftertaste is long, fresh with berries and soft tannins. The grapes are grown on clay-limestone soil following organic farming practices, the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels and partially matures in oak barrels. It is also suitable for vegans.
