The winery, still owned by the family, was founded in 1762 in the village of Saint-Hippolyte. 20 ha of private vineyards. The largest organic wine producer in Alsace. Pale yellow in color with a slight greenish undertone. The aroma is citrusy and fruity, you can feel yellow apples and ripe light stone fruits with a hint of aroma of white flowers. The end of the aroma adds some minerality with cumin and light herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, lively with citrus and fresh fruit. Smell yellow apples, nectarines and fresh bright stone fruits. The aftertaste is fruity long and minerally pungent The grapes are grown on clay-limestone soil, the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels and is not aged in oak barrels.
