The small winery belonging to the Eser family is located in the neighborhood of the famous Schloss Johhannisberg, founded as early as 1685. Owns land in several famous Rheingau vineyards in Johhannisberg. The color is bright yellow with a green undertone. The aroma is minerally fresh and florally fruity. You can smell peaches, ripe yellow fruits, white flowers, linden blossoms, jasmine, ripe citrus, ginger and mustard seeds and honey. The taste is fuller than average, mineral and overripe citrus fruit. You can smell dried apricots, overripe sweet citrus, orange peel and mustard seeds, sweet ginger and some bitter almonds. The aftertaste is powerfully long and minerally citrus-gingerly fruity and honeyed. The hand-picked late-harvest grapes come from the Rottland vineyard with quartz-slate soil. Fermentation takes place at a low temperature for 30 days and the wine is not aged in oak barrels.
