Founded in 1868 in the town of Langelois in the Kamptal region of Austria, the Jurtschitsch family-owned winery makes wine from the region's best vineyards - Zöbinger Heiligenstein, Dechant, Loiserberg, Steinhaus and Spiegel. Today, Alwin and Stefanie Jurtschitsch make wine, follow the principles of organic and biodynamic berry growing. Bright ruby red of medium intensity The aroma is fresh and lively with berries. You can feel ripe red stone fruits, red cherries, red currants and a little blueberry in the background. The end of the aroma is refreshed by a good berry acid with a slightly peppery nuance. The taste is lighter, dry and berry juicy. Feel red stone fruits, cherries, plums, some wild berries and blueberries supported by berry tannins. The aftertaste is enlivened by a slightly blushing, peppery spiciness. The grapes are picked by hand from vineyards with sedimentary and stony soil, the wine is fermented in large oak barrels, it does not develop in small oak barrels.
