A small winery owned by the Kolonics family for several generations in the Nagy-Somló region. Winemaker Károly Kolonics. Wine gardens total 9ha. Before blending and bottling, the wines develop for 1-3 years in Hungarian oak barrels of different ages and sizes. The color is more intense than average, golden yellow. The aroma is slightly "waxy", oily, fruity, floral and lively with minerality. Feel the orange, dried orange peel, fresh herbs and sweet grapefruit. The finish is mineral and ripe fruity. The taste is fuller than average, fruity, creamy and mineral. Feel ripe yellow stone fruits, a little honey and beeswax, ripe citrus and tropical fruit notes. The aftertaste is long and vividly citrus-fruity with a pungent mineral undertone. The grapes come from the slopes of Soml`mäe with volcanic-sedimentary soil. The berries have been picked by hand a little later than the usual picking time. The wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels, developed for 9 months in 500 L Hungarian oak barrels, clarified with bentonite (suitable for vegans) and aged in the bottle for 12 months.
