Berry grower since 1826. Today, Maison Louis Jadot is one of the most important Burgundy wine merchants, owning 270ha of vineyards in various Burgundy wine regions. Louis Jadot also makes his own wine barrels - they own the Cadus barrel factory in Burgundy and, as an innovative and comprehensive winery, also owns a plantation in the state of Oregon in the United States. Garnet red in color, crimson below medium intensity. Excitingly berry and fresh in the aroma, Feel ripe red wild berries, pohli, raspberries and cranberries with fresh red cherries, with a light incense smoke note in the background. The taste is dry and berry lush, ripe raspberries, fresh red cherries with other dark stone fruits. The medium-length berry aftertaste is complemented by a slightly animalic nuance. The grapes are partially picked by hand and come from the Côte d'Or, Saône et Loire (Mercurey, Buxy) and Irancy growing areas. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats and matures in large oak barrels.
