Today, one of the best renovated and modern wineries in Georgia was founded in 1915 and privatized in 1999. Owns 450 ha of personal vineyards and an additional 200 ha of contract winegrowers in various wine regions of Georgia. Intense purple red in color. The aroma is berry lively and lush. You can feel ripe dark berries, wild berries, blueberries and a balanced pepperiness with berry tannins. The taste is dry and berry, with medium body. Feel ripe black forest berries, black currants and dark stone fruits. The aftertaste is of medium length, where juicy berries are combined with slightly spicy berry tannins. The grapes come from Maran's personal Kondoli plantations, the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels, a small part of the wine develops for 3-4 months in French oak barrels.
