The wine is named after the family's daughter, Cristina. This wine is the best selection of Marimari Pinot Noir berries. However, the Don Miguel vineyard is named after the late patriarch of the family. The winery is located in Green Valley, the coolest part of the Russian River Valley, just ten miles from the Pacific Ocean. Fermentation takes place for four months in new French oak barrels. The wine is then mixed and transferred to barrels over one year old until bottling. The wine has the rich aroma of black cherries and plums characteristic of Pinot Noir. In the taste, you can guess peat and the atmosphere of the forest floor. Elegant oak is integrated with supple tannins. Wine has development potential of at least 15-20 years. It is recommended to decant the wine. Contains sulfites.
