A Rioja winery with a more modern and contemporary style, founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner with winemaking experience in Bordeaux. The aroma shows sweet spices, a little animal smokiness and overripe berries - wild berries, black cherry, dried black plum. The taste is velvety structured. Feel bitter black berries, coffee beans, black pepper and bitter chocolate. The aftertaste is long, parky-berry balanced. The grapes are picked from vines over 30 years old, matures for 20 months in French oak barrels and 36 months in the bottle, 100% French oak barrels, 20% new barrels.
