Founded in 1892 by brothers David and Salvador Michel in the Calchaqui Valley, located 1800m above sea level, today one of the most modern wine producers in Argentina. Intense in color, dark red with a violet undertone The lively berry aroma reveals dark stone fruits, blue plums, blueberries and wild berries. At the end of the aroma, some dried herbs and black pepper are added. The taste is medium-bodied and berry lively, with the character of ripe dark stone fruits. Green herbs and fresh berry spiciness add vivacity to the taste, and a slightly bitter note of cherry stone comes to the end of the taste. The grapes are picked by hand, the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels and 30% of the wine is aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
