Berry grower since 1826. Today, Maison Louis Jadot is one of the most important Burgundy wine merchants, owning 270ha of vineyards in various Burgundy wine regions. Louis Jadot also makes his own wine barrels - they own the Cadus barrel factory in Burgundy and, as an innovative and comprehensive winery, also owns a plantation in the state of Oregon in the United States. Pale yellow in color with a greenish tint. Fruity, lively and fresh in the aroma, you can feel ripe citrus fruits, yellow apples and light stone fruits. A bit of creamy vanilla spice with white flowers in the background. The taste is dry, fruity and lively with medium body. Feel yellow apples, slightly raw hazelnuts and bitter citrus with a punchy minerality. The medium length aftertaste is stimulated by yellow stone fruits and fresh citrus fruits. The grapes come from the Mâconnais villages of Fuisé, Solutré, Pouilly, Vergisson and Chaintré, the berries are partly picked by hand. Part of the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels, part of the wine in large open oak barrels, after fermentation, part of the wine matures for 8-10 months in small French oak barrels and part in large steel barrels, which are mixed before bottling.
