South Africa is becoming one of the most interesting wine growing regions in the world and especially with wines made from Sauvignon Blanc. Most of the vineyards of this variety are located in the western part of the country known as the “Western Cape”. Its location is perfect for growing quality Sauvignon Blanc grapes, offering an ideal combination of growing areas from the milder coast to the colder climates of the mountains. The aroma of the wine is citrus and tropical fruits. The taste has floral notes accompanied by hints of various herbs.
