Founded in 1899 by two enterprising gentlemen, Erminio Sella & Edgardo Mosca, the winery was originally built for the breeding of vines. One of the oldest and best-known wineries in Sardinia, making wine mainly from berries from private gardens. Vineyards total 550 ha. Bright in color, pale yellow with a greenish undertone. The aroma features crisp mineral notes, white flowers, fresh citrus and green herbs, grapefruit, green apple, and dried citrus peel is added at the end of the aroma. Taste with fresh and mineral cirrhous acid, feel fresh juicy fruits, green apple, apple peel. The long citrus aftertaste is accented by a slightly bitter mineral herbaceousness. Grapes grow on the northern coast of Sardinia with a cool climate around the town of Alghero. the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels and not aged in oak barrels.
