Silk & Spice Red Blend has a ruby red color with notes of dried red and black berries, as well as hints of vanilla and mocha. Light spiciness comes from black and pink pepper. Despite the fruity and fresh profile, the wine is full-bodied, with excellent balance of acidity and tannins, with a long aftertaste. Aged 6 months in American oak barrels. The label depicts the 15th-century Bay of Bengal, the so-called Asia Gate, which separates South and Southeast Asia. One of the coats of arms of the Portuguese territory from 1248 is also visible. However, the two caravels are intended to emphasize and acknowledge the historical connection of the explorer Vasco da Gama and other sailors with Silk & Spice wine. After all, the wine got its name from the 16th century trade route "Silk, Spice & Incense Route" between Europe and Asia, where various spices were traded. Many of these flavors and aromas can also be felt in this wine. Silk & Spice Red is gluten-free. Contains sulfites.
