One of the oldest wine producers in South Africa, it is owned by the Enthoven family, who bought the land in 1993. The color has a delicate violet shade, more intense ruby red than average. Aromas of ripe dark forest berries, dark stone fruits and wild berries and blueberries, with light peppery notes combined with mild berry tannins. The taste is medium-bodied and juicy berry-blueberry, in addition, you can feel overripe field berries and a slight spiciness. The medium length aftertaste is complemented by a pleasant and velvety berry park. The berries are picked from various vineyards in the Western Cape region, the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats and developed for a short time in large oak barrels.
