The Takler family has grown grapes in the Szekszárd region for 3 centuries, but the Takler Pince winery was founded only in 1987. The cultivation of grapes and the production of wine are managed by the so-called "Takler Trio" - the head of the family Ferenc Takler and his two sons András and Ferenc jun. Today, the family owns 58ha of vineyards. The color is ruby red with a violet undertone. Ripe dark forest berries, black currants, wild berries and blueberries can be felt in the aroma, to which are added peppery notes with black tea, dried laurel and thyme. The taste is fuller than average and berry-herbal, you can feel ripe dark stone fruits, wild berries, and dried herbs - thyme and rosemary. The longer than average aftertaste is complemented by a pleasant and velvety berry park with a light spicy pepperiness. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, suitable for vegans (clarified with bentonite) and matured for 14 months in Hungarian oak vats of 500 L and 225 L.
