One of the oldest and most famous wineries in Rioja, owning 429 Ha of vineyards. Ruby red in color with a slight burnt brick undertone. The aroma is intensely berry and complex. You can feel overripe red berries and spices with added cocoa beans, leather and tobacco. The taste is fully balanced and berry complex. Feel overripe dark forest berries, slightly structured spices, coffee beans and milk chocolate. The aftertaste is velvety long and perfectly balanced. The wine is an old-fashioned Rioja Reserva - the berries are picked from 30-year-old vines at the Vińa Ardanza winery and the wine is aged for 36 months in American oak barrels.
