The historic wine cooperative in the town of Krems, whose roots go back to the 13th century, unites 1,400 grape growers and manages approx. 900ha of vineyards in Lower Austria. The color is pale yellow with a greenish sheen. The aroma is citrusy, fruity and slightly floral. Feel ripe light stone fruits, apricots, peaches, nettles and fresh herbs. The finish is refreshed by citrus fruits with a slightly dusty minerality. The taste is dry, citrusy and on the lighter side. Feel green apples, white currants and light stone fruits with a slightly blushing, peppery mineral finish. The wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels and is not aged in oak barrels.
