Patron Spirits was founded in 1989 with the goal of producing premium tequila made entirely from blue agave and promoting interest in tequila around the world. This exceptional, premium dark rum comes in a unique and eye-catching bottle - the short and wide bottle was perfect for ships, as there was less chance of the bottle tipping over on the table. The bottle is handcrafted and retains the shape of the original rum bottle used hundreds of years ago by sailors and pirates.

Aged for five years in a bourbon cask in Barbados, then a year in a cognac cask in Cognac, France, and an additional year in a used Malbec grape wine cask. The aroma is elegant and jammy, with hints of plum, coconut, vanilla, tobacco and refreshing mint. The taste has a more fruity character, you can feel coconut milk, chocolate, raspberry and banana. A very limited release, available only this year. There isn't and won't be another rum like it. Suitable for a collector.
