The winery was founded in 1973 by Bonaventura Maschio, who decided to rebuild his family's hundred-year-old distillery for wine production and started making wine under the name Casa Vinicola Maschio. By merging in 2002 with Cantine Riunite, a wine producer from the Emilia-Romagna region, one of the largest sparkling wine production companies in Northern Italy was formed. The wine is lightly carbonated using the Charmat method. The taste is light, fresh and fruity. In the aroma, you can feel raspberry, blackcurrant, undergrowth. The wine is not aged in oak barrels.
