With a peat smokiness of 40 ppm, this malt whiskey has a strong smoky character. A combined malt whiskey from three types of casks, which expresses the elegant character of Port Charlotte, the harbor town of Islay. With this whisky, Bruichladdich shows the faith in its testament to the old traditional ingredients, Scottish barley malts and peat. Only Scotch barley is used and the malt whiskey has been quietly matured in the cellars of Port Charlotte. Before bottling, the single malt whiskey is gently mixed with spring water from the island of Islay, leaving the whiskey at a powerful 50% alcohol content.
