Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is one of three Glenmorangie whiskeys matured in barrels of other alcohols. Quinta Ruban is a single malt whisky. Whiskey is usually 'made' in bourbon barrels. However, ready-made whiskey is also stored in port wine barrels, which are brought from old port wine manors. Such a maturation process adds an extremely soft and velvety taste nuance to the whisky, in which dry and sweet notes intertwine. The taste is dominated by rich chocolate and minty flavors.

Nomad Outland Whisky Sherry Cask Finish 70cl

This is probably the whiskey you have never tasted before, because whiskey has never been made like this before. Mythbuster. Outland, i.e., a 5-8 year old high-class blend of 30 malt and grain whiskeys from the Speyside region is first prepared in Bourbon casks in Scotland, followed by 3 years of aging in Oloroso sherry casks. It is then aged for 12 months, now already in Spain, in the historic cellar of Gonzalez Byass in Jerez, in old Pedro Ximenes sherry casks. The result is a smoky, honeyed nectar infused with the spices of an exotic tree. At the same time elegant, at the same time lush-shaped, silk glove.
