Tamnavulin Speyside Single Malt single malt whiskey is made using double aging. It is first aged in American white oak casks and then in used sherry casks to give the whiskey a rich full-bodied and mildly sweet taste. The aroma and taste of Tamnavulin Speyside Single Malt is fruity and lively, you can feel ripe apples and pears, marzipan and sweet stone fruits. The long and full aftertaste is complemented by notes of toffee and honey with citrus marmalade. Tucked away by the Livet River, Tamnavulin Whiskey House began distilling more than 50 years ago, combining ancient distilling knowledge with modern technology and the finest ingredients. Located between the River Livet and the Spring of Corrie, Tamnavulin uses water from underground springs in the Easterton Mountains, which are fed by snowmelt from the surrounding mountains.
