On 04.03.1790, the apple-growing region in Normandy was named Calvados. Calvados Coquerel distillery was established in 1937. Calvados AOP in northwestern France. The Distillery is located near the Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. It is a family business and today the distillery is managed by the innovative blend master Mr. Pierre Martin Neuhaus. Calvados Coquerel has its own orchards of apple trees and also buys apples from long-term partners with whom they have signed long-term contracts.
